State of the City 2009

Advances and improvements in and around the city. Operating in a challenging economy and the effects on the city and community, and economic stimulus funding projects were among the topics addressed during the 23rd annual State of the City © luncheon forum held on July 14. Presented by the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Raymond’s Trophy & Awards, the event was held at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center. Joining Mayor Harvey L.Hall were City Manager Alan Tandy and Administrative Analyst Steven Teglia.

This annual forum is one of the Chamber’s key presentations to the business community, drawing a large crowd each year.
